Thread: No Double xp for CH's

I am a fairly new CH (not respec'd) and I was dissappointed when they offered a Double XP week when we were capped at 20,000 CH xp. Sadly, once I hit that cap at Novice early in that week I could no longer advance to cash in on the double xp like everyone else. The cap fix came after that week was over.

Now they celebrate 2yrs by giving everyoneDouble XP week and then introduce a patchthat was documented on Test that made pets 1(0) in the same week. With pets like theseCH's are effectively denieddouble xp.

Double XP aside, how am I supposed to level now?

Not to excuse SOE for their complete incompetence but, you can get xp by taming and training babies. Just tame, train and release.

If you know a novice BE, they can craft low level gnorts out of yard trash DNA which you can tame and train.

It's not a good solution but it is a solution none the less.

Thanks for that.

I really hadn't considered the tame, train, release thing. I am a BE andcould make my own pets for tame/release but itis notthat fun to me beinga solo activity. Finding a baby to tame/release isn't fun for me either.

I'd much rather be out there in a group setting with my trusty companions by my side. I was enjoying 2000-9000 CH xp per kill & 12,000-15,000 CH xp per lair with the Double XP.

I've been accustomed to attaining CH xp solely through pet combat and with pets at 1(0) made this option not viable. Practically forgot about tame/release, thanks for pointing that out. Like you said, not a good solution be A solution.

I have a guild mate who was working on BE. It was a good arrangment. Not very exciting but better than nothing. I need about 1.1 million exp. for MCH and planned on getting it in the next few days. So much for those Female Narglatchs. I'm going to see if my friend can make me a few hundred BE creatures to work on.

i went from noob to a CL80 Master Swordman/Mater creature Handler in 2 weeks about 30-35 hours of playing time, look at my join date to see when i started........ I could have done it faster if i joined a exp- group going ofter bols in Dantoine faster

What i did was trained some cl 10 creature as soon as i got novice CH. Then used it to attack lvl 80 +/- Bols together with a random hunting group with at least 1+ CL 80 member.......... P.S. yeah i know the double exp helped, but that started 25 july and i was a MCH on monday, but still i think i would have done itfast anyway. I have now gotten hold of some nice creatures, and i think it will take me about another week to grow them.

Now i am not certain what to do. When u have dual master grades what is there to do in this game? Quest, i have been doing a couple and i can see that they will soon be boring? Jedi, okey i grid Jedi.... (like everyone else) and then what.....?

GCW yeah thats a possibility, but won't that also be boring soon....

I would really have your advice.... if possible........

To be honest and not to flame you but, the mistake you've made is grind the game. Yes, the game will become boring to you. The truth is, any game will become boring very quickly if you grind it.

It still boggles my mind that someone would set up a grind macro, go to a grind spot, commence grinding, and go watch tv. And they are actually paying real money to do this? Then, when they get to master whatever in approximately a week's time, they complain there isn't anything in this game to do. Well, they spent a week watching tv. Why should they start complaining now?

Ok I am going to try and help a bit, I have a handful of pets that survived the publish 19 massacre.I can lend them out to CHs on the Chilastra server so they do not miss out on double XP week.

Send an in game e-mail to MAWL or TONIE (post here as well)

First come first serve.I am VERY attached to all my pets so I do expect them back when the bug is fixed.

I do not have all the listings and stats , quite honestly i don't have time ot go through them all.

I still have ones that work (many don't)

Mawl

Chilastra

and

Tonie Stark

not all of us had master tk in composite and ground master tk with a macro

noone that i personally know is saying it should be possible to macro-grind combat experience, i think most of them already quit the game in protest.

funny, i might be mayor of a city soon that was once run by some who quit in protest after CU (a buff-bot doctor lol) - i'm here for the long haul and just hope i get double XP after my pets are fixed (badge collector/CH/Ranger - i'm currently CL 50 with no misserable weapons accuracy)
