Was trying out my new Ch skills the other night and I happen to come by a beast of a wookie out running around wild in Theed. I walk up slowly and tried to tame him.. I was not able to tame him.. So I tried to calm him down a bit.. thinking that would help was thinking outload why can I not tame him.. Wookie tunred to me slpped me and stared walking away.. WHAT?? So I agein went and agein tried to tame the wookie by the normal mean by talking body movement petting and such.. The darn wookie agein did a lound yell and slaped me agein.. So in vain I left a peice of raw meat infont of him hopeing that will put me in good favor with him so next time I walk up he will know my sent and will be able totame and train... What am I doing wrong why can I tame wookies ????

You have to save the wookies life, which turns on the lifedebt function. Then you will have a faithful follower for life.

I heard there's a special CH-only quest you can do to get a Wookiee Taming Tool schematic that can be crafted by a Master ID... They say it's pretty handy because it doubles as a beard trimmer.
But be careful... after you tame them, they will be immediately reduced to CL1 with 10 Health... so you won't be able to use them for fighting anymore.

Wow, funny! A ray of laughter shining on an otherwise day of gloom for CHs. Thanks

I'm just curious how he was able to stand back up after being slapped by a Wookiee. The last time I slapped anyone, I put them on their butt....and I was just being nice. Given a wookiee's propensity for strength, it's a wonder the OP is able to breathe, let alone type.

Wookiees have feelings too. He was holding back. Next time he may not be so lucky.

Be nice to Wookiees. The next one you try to tame may rip your arms off.
Besides, he may also be your next Chancelor. You never know. ROOOAAAAARRR

Generally speaking an assult bowcaster with over 1100 max damage tends to tame them pretty quickly.
