I was wondering how exactly how you get your pets to lvl up when it comes from the baby lvl 1 to becoming the king of creatures lvl 70 and what in your opinion are the best ways to get them to lvl?

thanks for any information you can give.

This is possibly one of the more confusing aspects of creature handling. I'll try to explain it as best as I can.

When you tame a baby, it starts out anywhere from level 1 to level 7. The level it starts out at will tell you approximately what level it's going to grow up to. A good rule of thumb is that the baby will grow up to about 10 times the level it was when you tamed it. For example, I tamed a level 7 shear mite that grew up into a level 70. A level 1 baby can be anything from level 1 to 19; level 2 is 20-29, etc.

As far as how long it takes your pet to get its max level: I've heard of a variety of ways to get your pet to level. Some say log in and out every 12 hours, some say take your pet out occasionally, some say training it when you tame and then storing it helps. I've never bothered to find out what works, but I do know it can take as long as a week for your pet to reach max level. Some of my pets have taken only a few days; some have seemed to drag on forever.

If you want to find level 70 creatures, I'd recommend Dathomir. I've been to all the worlds, and that one seems to have the best chance of spawing level 70 babies. Otherwise, if you're dead set for a level 70 baby and don't want to risk Dathomir (which is understandable and even wiseif your only combat profession is CH, or if you're lower than, say, level 75), find a Master Bio-Engineer who will make you a good one (this can be expensive). Yavin 4 tends to spawn more level 6 babies, while Endor is good for level 5, and somewhat for level 6.

If any of this does not make sense to you, or if you have more questions, don't be afraid to ask!

Im a new CH and thats a nice explanation. My question is, and I assumed, the level of the adult in the lair determined the max full-grown level. I.e., the adult is CL 20 and the babies are always CL 1, so then the baby will grow to CL 20. Does that make any sense lol.

Well, it's not always the level of the adults. If you are taking mission spawns, this is not true. Only for lairs you find in the wild. So a CL20 adult will never have a CL1 baby at a wild spawn, only possible at a mission spawn. To really know what level it will get to, you need tofind the adultsfrom wild spawns.

It is true that a pet grows every 12 hours from your prior logout time. You must log infor it to grow tho. So if you are growing one fast, log in, log out, wait a bit and log in again. That way you get the 12 hour timer going again. If you log in before 12 hours you can stay logged on, but log off/on once you see that it has grown.
