Thread: Stop Whimpering!!
Sorry, but I think that what happened has been coming as we have let SoE get away with thing like this before and not done anything really effective to stop them.
It is clear that posting on forums and reporting bugs is pointless.
The only other action that would seem to make them show us some respect is our monthly fees.
Just one month’s cancellation by even a small percentage of players would play havoc upstairs and give SoE some real bad publicity in the public eye.
I know it will never happen but even worse is SoE know it too.
They must really think we are a gullible bunch of naive players that can be manipulated to their heart’s content.
So until the day where we really stand up and hurt them where it counts, we might as well stop whimpering (and that includes me) because in two years nothing has changed and it appears it is getting worse, not better as time passes.
If you want to rant then do it the one way SoE will hurt and sign up to cancel your subscription for just one month.
We have had enough trying to talk to them and where has it got us?

I would have thought posting on gaming forums would attract more attention, pc game magazine sites, the game selling sites etc, the game should be pulled from the shelves untill its fixed. I noticed last night that we have a fancy new directional route when /find (somewhere in city) now that made me wonder when i saw this light up, why i have a bag of useless animals on me, but can see where im going in pretty glowy colours.
Im not one to complain as it rarely makes a difference, but in these circumstances i find it more than odd that immediate fixes are not put live. If a game has a bug a patch is worked on asap, if a video card manufacturer has drivers that mess a game up...they are onto it straight away.
What i really dont understand is for those of you that test and report bugs, and in this case a HUGE profession busting bug, who in SOE, says never mind that, push it live...what is their reasoning behind it?
