Thread: *Possible* good thing about Publish 19... need some testers.

I noticed something this evening while I was killing time on my Jedi (since CH is of course broken)...

It looked to me like they may have fixed the "no respawn for non-lair" spawn issue with Publish 19... krayt I was killing were respawning just as they did in the old system, pre-CU. Same thing happened with some random lairless banthas and dragonets I killed. Killed them, 3-4 minutes later they respawned.

This *might* mean Blurrg Raptors, Great Plains Stalkers, Swamp Stalkers, Stoneskin Hanadaks, etc., are spawning babies now assuming they also respawn when killed.

I'm heading for bed (but unfortunately just made the potential spawn fix discovery as I'm struggling to stay awake) but if any of you are willing/able to investigate please post your findings here.

If this is indeed fixed, it kills another of our top issues, and that's a good thing.

[P.S.] In case you're wondering, you can still tame new creatures even though the 1(0) bug is present, so don't be afraid to try if you come across a rare tame.

Good luck, and thanks to anyone who is able to check this out.

Another thing you might notice is the ease at which you can tame anything atm. I tamed 3 babies all over 60+ on the first try. My guess is that they are considered level 1 with a max level of 0 and are suuuper easy to tame atm.

I've noticed a lot more creatures on Tatooine as well.

I managed to solo8 Krayts, two Ancient with no ability to harvest them, through 2 cloner trips, and I got 2 different types of the new Smuggler slicing items.

After I killed a bunch of smaller creatures, a Krayt would pop up. I also noticed a lot more Bantha lairless groups, with two babies for every 6-8 regulars.

The krayts in the graveyard respawn due to the Krayt boom and the tendancy for krayts to continually spawn in the same places. This only effects Krayts and not any of our fabled creatures such as the Great Plains Stalker.

Since Milteck is on strike at moment and is pledged not to tame, train, or hunt creatures I used my Jedi to find a GPS on corellia and is still bugged not respawning.

I'm still finding it works like this:

If there are 2 creatures at a spawn and you kill one of them it will respawn while you are fighting the 2nd one. Once you kill the 2nd one a lot of times that 1st creature that respawned will vanish if you are not in combat with it, if you are in combat with it you can kill it but nothing else will respawn. So the max number of kills from a 2 creature spawn you can get is 3. Also my group last night killed about 20 GCK's on Tat, as we all know they spawn solo, not one of those respawned in the same location..........out of those 20 kills tons and tons of cores of both kinds, 2 Mandalorian Intraframe, and 1 Delicate Trigger Assembly if anyone cares about that stuff........no tissues and no pearls!

I wasn't in the graveyard (actually about 10000m to the west), and as I said it also was happening with other creature types on Tatooine. Perhaps it is limited to that planet?

Got lucky and had a Swamp Stalker, Plains Hunter, and 2 Female Narglatch all outside my house. Unfortunately the Swamp Stalker and Plains Hunter have dropped a level from CL30 to CL29. Since I was on Sunrunner and not Naritus couldn't sample them to compare the DNA with what I've recorded to see if there's been a change.

Anyway, none of them respawned after I killed them.

I hunted swamp stalkers for hours last night, out of the 5 I saw there were NO respawns.

I saw it fruitless to try other single spawns.

There appears to be a new badge-awarding static spawn at the back end of the canyon in the krayt graveyard. It spawns a group of six (I think...) krayts: four (?)adolescents, a grand krayt, and an ancient. If you work your way through them all and kill the ancient, you get a badge, "You have killed an ancient krayt dragon." This wasn't the repeating spawn you saw, by chance...?

If you have some full grown mounts you don't really need, you can make a small fortune selling this 1-time only (hopefully) deal to the non-ch of the worlds.

I would not recommend this ... when this level 1(0) bug is fixed they (DEVs) may "fix" those mounts you sold to non CH and they will become unusable to the person. CHs should be above this trickery. Lets not stoop to that level huh?
