Well, you should be able to tame them, that is for sure. A rockmite is under cl 12, I believe. I saw a thread a few days ago where a few people mentioned getting a similar message on tames. I would bug it and create a ticket. You could also try relogging or moving to another planet.

I noticed this once or twice but then I noticed the baby agro'd me. I ran a way thenmasked scent and tried again no problems.

im master ch and cant tame anything it happens to me when i accidentallyfight a with a baby and dont kill it which means i have to ethier find it and kill it or wait for the sever to shut down and boot up to be able to tame again.

I haven't had a problem.

It would be really cool if you provided more info though. For all we know you are a novice CH trying to tame a Rancor adult....

Ok i tried to tame a womprat baby and a rockmite baby (anylow level Baby creatures) and it says i can not tame it

I've tracked down this bug; it is one of the most prominent bugs ruining thech experience for myself. This bug occurs when you try and tame something that is in 'retreat' mode. Since the animal is retreating the system states "you cannot tame this" but never seems to reset itself; therefore, it negates you from taming ANY creature, whether it beCL 1 orCL 70,until server restart. Disconnecting/Logging out does NOT rectify this issue. I have found no work aroundfor thisbug aside fromlogging out till server reset.

im having the same problem with the you cannot tame this bug. i never had any babies retreat on me or anything. soon as i got novice ch i tried to tame a baby bantha lvl 1 and got the message. ive moved up a couple boxes and i still get the same cannot tame message.

The tame is based on the level that the adult WILL be, not the level that the baby is. Check your skills sheet and see what the max level is on creatures that you can tame, then check a nearby adult to see what level the baby will grow up to be.

Examine a creature before you tame it. If it is bugged, you should see -1 on 3 different stats in the examine window.
