Every time I make a toon, I always do one thing. If it's a wookiee, I make him the tallest and beefiest. Human, same thing, Zabrak, as tall as I can make him.
Well, on Shadowfire, I made a toon name Walle Deabi. (found a star wars name generator for that one. lol) Well, one race I have never played, bothan, so I made one. But in this genere, I went the other way. I made him the shortest I could for a male bothan, 1.35 meters tall.
You want to talk about CHANGE. I buffed, up, loaded my pistol and went to Dantooine to grind on quenkers. I hit the first lair and the thing was almost as big as I was!
Went out hunting pickets the other night and I came up to mid thigh. Granted, they were the same easy kills, but GEEZ!! Do you tall guys realize how awe inspiering it is to walk up to a graul mauler and only come up to it's knee? Or to go after a Servort and it look like the size of a mountain worrt? Or a mountain Worrt looks like a mountain?!?!?
I've actually have had more fun playing my bothan CH than any other, mainly for the fact that I feel like a midgit in a room full of giants. Had a Giant Carrion Spat named plauge, I would hop on top ofhim and start yelling, I CAN SEE MY HOUSE FROM HERE!! Can't wait till my Savage Humbaba is big enough to mount. Much less my GSP gets full grown, I could stand under it's jaw and not even tough it with the top of my head.
I know, a bit of rambling, but seening these wonderful friends of our's from under the horizon line seems a bit cool to me.

lol, have fun with your shortness! I've done the same thing with all of my bothan characters.

All of my characters have been the shortest. its a fun way to play.

LOL, I'm a long timebothan and the shortest you can be and I tell ya, there'snothing funner then seeing a 3 foot rodent beat on a pack of enraged rancors

My first charecter was the shortest trandoshan I could make. Everytime I make a new on I make them short. I have tried tall and always went back due to the reasons you describe (not that the trandoshan is near as short.) But for Ile who is my only imperial or human I am forcing myself to remain tall and fit the sterotype. After all I do not want my commander saying "aren't you a little short to be a stormtrooper."

I made a bothan character myself on another server hes cool. I made him small and light hehe.
Answer this is it my imagination or are the shorter bothans quicker than any other species out there.
He seems to run and move alot faster than mu other characters, might be an illusion lol.

I noticed that when you hop on a swoop, you suddenly gain a foot in height! The same thing happens when you sit down. I guess you would look funy on a swoop if you couldn't reach the pedals and handles

My Bothan is tall for a Bothan - which still makes him smaller than just about everything else, and when I'm on top of my brackaset mount, it's a verrrry long way to the ground! Bothan is the only character I've played, and one of the things I like most is how everything else looks so big. That and the hairy nose

lol..walle is a friend of mine..and he is tiny..he is doing carbs, but it would have been hilarious to see him do rifle, an carry around a t-21

Nice work, my main is a short little bothan and he's MCH / TKM and has been for a long time. Being short rules!
It's buzz being a tiny little geezer in a pack of mobs and taking 'em down
. . . and taming a damn great rancor and getting him to do my bidding - who says size matters.

Now you see my joy as I am a short bothan Master CH.
I love to make short toons, as I like the idea of a little guy making big waves.
As a short black Bothan I also enjoy one of the more rare body types in the game, only a bit ahead of short female Bothans.

As you can tell from my avatar, I'm a Rodian.
When I made him, I didn't make him as short as I could, but I did make him pretty damned short. I feel like a midget when I'm next to a kneeling Wookiee and still not as tall as he is, lol.
I haven't noticed the size differences, because this character is all I've played. But it is neat being so short, I enjoy it.
