Ok so I’m here at the forums and I've been a CH since 2003, but I very rarely use my CH skills and to be honest I haven't been to the CH board in a quite some time, so my question is have we gotten the slightest bit of information of what is going to happen with CHs in the future? yeah, there's going to be changes from the CURB, which is good, but as a profession what's going on? Way back in 2003 I remember post of all the little things that could be done to enhance the CH profession, such as new creatures, mounts and commands but at 2005 not a thing has been done. So is there any info on where CH is heading? Are the afore mentioned commands and such going to be part of the CURB or what?
I've just been curious because as I said I don't do much with CH lately and have been holding on to it (maybe too long) with hopes of a revamp, but days like today when I go out to tame a creature and remember I can't even tell what the CL level of a creature is, and that BEs can only give Bantha or Cu Pa mounts to non-CHs, it has me wonder, I'm supposed to be a Master of Creatures, hell I can't even tell the sex... "good errrrrrrr... BOY!?". I do see good Ideas on here but are any of these being considered or are going to be implemented? Above there's talk of corral or something which is good, even tho I would just be happy with the ability to leave my pet in a structure, and have them wander around, sit or lay down. And I always found it strange that we have a 3 creature limit and a CL cap (which came around from the Nerf) but think it should be one or the other, and since we tried the latter why not get rid of the former, 5 level 14 pets would actually be able to form a wedge better than 3. Anyway it just seems like the board is a little lackadaisical, somehow I get the sense of a defeatist attitude, there used to be buzz on what's going to be done or what people wanted done, but even after searching I can't find firm info on what the state of this profession will be. I don't know, maybe it's just that like me those that have been a CH for a while just don't come around anymore or they've left the game completely. In any case hopefully there's something good to come, but can I (we) get any info on what it is? If the info is out there and I missed it, then my mistake, but it seems like CH is on the far back burner now, I mean almost 2 years and nothing, it’s a little disappointing.

Seems to be that way, any advantages we have been given for awhile applied to the whole community and not specificially for us, such as the surveying while mounted thing. They did however fix vitality loss in PvP after only 5 tries, but i can't remember anything else they've done specifically for CH.

People want creatures to be harder, professions are getting rebalanced.
CHs handle creatures, but really have little to be tampered with
Everything else gets nerfed, CH is spared. That'll level the playing field

They also removed the damage reduction pet get in pvp. That helped..........sorta

Ah I knew I forgot something, thanks Joker
. Ok, Joker is right, we did get that one thing. It definently helps against some proffesions, but its still nowhere near a big enough boost to make things fair unless your in unbuffed fighting, which only happens once in a blue moon.
