Hey, i was just wondering whether Mch/Mbh/cm 4xxx would be very good for hunting Jedi?

Anybody tried it?

well when i first killed a jedi i was MCH, BH 2/4/4/4, M marksman, but that was pure luck
well the thing is that the pets will give u the surprise attack in this case but u are going to need alot of specials and alot of grinding before u can get even close to killing a jedi, i have ran some tests and it seems that most jedis when attack will attack the pet first so if u get a high health pet and put some armor and regen its going to be thougher to kill, means u get more hit on him, but once the jedi notices u KD or snare him something of that sort but always try to keep him away enless u have armor and be sure to heal ur pet and self, but always remember sometimes keeping them on ur pets is the best idea of all

i would say yes it is a good temp to hunt jedis only thing is u either kill him in 30 seconds or else he will kill u in the next 5 minutes

Not really into the hunting jedi thing - but was thinking of a similar template myself - I'm worried by the lack of weapon skills though, and a(percieved) lack of damage output- does it hurt that much?

Template was MCH/MBH/Ranger0030 (I love areatrack!)

(FARSTAR) Bogaba - Armoursmith - nr Mos Eisley (WP 3796 -3716)
(INFINITY) Annaka - CH/Ranger
(CORBANTIS) Lyissan - Smuggler

All cancelled the minute NGE goes live.

I have that exact template. I'm not too into hunting jedi, but I have dueled quite a few for fun. In general, you can survive as long as your mind holds out, and using a good BE pet with fast attacks is a pretty reasonable way to add some damage. I'm still working on training my pet with some useful special abilities, I think that at max level it might really be able to provide pretty good assitance.

One major problem is that if you are facing a master defender, your pet is going to be doing squat for damage, and you won't be able to do much either since you don't have stacked ranged accuracy.

I think that overall, it is a really fun PvE template, and could be reasonable in PvP and anti-jedi also. I should note that I'm by no means an accomplished PvPer, I don't even use food and don't have extremely high end weapons and armor, etc. Someone that really took advantage of every facet of the template could probably do quite well.

with this combo i'd be more scared of than the a master bh/mast cm combo considering on of my toons is master rifles/ master ch and can clobber the new new bh/combat medic combo with a pet trio

just forget about the time line it nolonger exits her hasn't for some time. we're in a virtual star wars universe and it our time line not the movies. so its what we make of this universe ourselves. once this is realized then you'll start having fun

Three pets, one droid and a gun.... each pet can have at least 7 ability slots... = 2 lvl 3 abilities per pet = at least 6 different state affects... I am MCH MBH 4000cm and working on getting the right abilities... but I am having a blast doing it

Just picture yourself on a jedi mission with a nice, BE'd CL70 pet with Hamstring, Fleet Footed, and Knockdown abilities... that's going to be one interesting fight, and that pet will be helpful in imobilizing your target

you wont have the skill points left after MCH/MBH to have much if any of Doc, doc takes 2 medic tress where CM only takes 1. it is better to go CM 4-0-0-0 and have 3 sp left over than to try and go doc which will leave you at best novice doc.... 1600 heals at CM 4, with droid and be clothing.

yup, doc and cm both take 2 prereq trees, but with MBH you already have one of the CM prereqs covered (the marksman line), so you can spend points on a full tree in CM. and with CM you can't buff or heal wounds like a doctor can, but with CM you get 3 heals on different timers... bactashot which all medics get, bactatoss which has a 30m range and is great for pets tanking a bit away from you, and bactaspray which is really handy when you and your pets are all getting pounded.

i'm MCH/MBH/ 3000 CM on one toon and i am having a blast. i make up for some of the low accuracyby eating crispic. it's a food that has +40 ranged accuracy no matter how the chef fixes it, and +35-72 or so melee accuracy depending on if they put BE tissues in it or not. if you search around a little, you may be able to find a chef that sells the non-enhanced (and therefore cheaper) version for us ranged types.

it would be a pretty good combo i think.. personally i don't hunt jedi anymore and my alts template is master ch, bh 0/4/4/4, cm4/4/0/0, marksman 0/0/1/4, scout 4/0/4/0, medic 0/4/0/0, hightend senses 1/0/0/1 on an ithorian comes out lvl 80 also

i have some serious interest in this template. wondering if i can be mbh/mcm/doc4000. i would want to keep bacta spray to heal pets but doc line would be nice because of stacked healing eff. i had 1600 heals when i had 4000cm/4000doc. since bh doesn't have high damage output having two pets tank jedor would be interesting. i am considering it!

this is my template and it seems to be fun to say the least. As far as being effective, maybe not. nut then again i haven't finished training my pets the way i would like. To add to the mix you should also bring out a droid and a faction pet at the same time to add to the hurting. Just have to remember that the faction pet most likely isn't going to survive but will help out a bit. Or to add to the confusion factor you could have 3 lvl 23 pets a droid and a faction pet out plus yourself for a total of 6 targets. Now thats some fun.
