Im new to the CH proffesion, and have been taming like crazy.

I have a few pets with level1 abillitys.

My question is this.

One creature has knockdown strike L1 when I look on the datadad, but when I train it, knockdown strike L1 is not in the menu. Another creature the skill is both the datapad when I examine it,AND in the train window.

Is there a differance? can I learn the skill from both these creatures. Ive done all my grinding with the one that doesnt have the ability in the train menue( he is nealy fully grown now ). Ive also killed 4000 level 1 critters , and havent learned the ability yet.

Hit up Velitham in game and I'll help you out a bit. Ive also got a few pets with abilities I dont need that your welcome to have. I spent 4+ hours taming them allso I'd hate to just throw em away.

I had the same question, actually. Is there any real key to getting the pet to learn abilities? In the same vein, is the any real key to getting the pet to teach ME the abilitis? Any help would be appreciated. I've read quite a few posts and it seems to be random to me. I suppose I'm looking for clarification.

Thanks for the responce.

I have worked out my main issue though.

The skills not apearing in the radial menu are the non-triggered skills. ie the ones that are always on like the thick skin one (whatever that is called.) Thats why you cant train it. lol..
