Pet size is the key to mounting a pet. The pet has to be large enough to be mountable. In the past before the CU, pets grew over time in your datapad. Now the only way to make a pet grow in size is to gain it CH xp, which gains it in maturity. To make your pet grow, you need to fight with it and "roll over" its xp cap (check your datapad) ... each "roll over" will gain it in maturity, and thus size.
Please note after hitting a "roll over" you will need to store and recall your pet to see any size difference.
Also note that BE crafted pets are smaller than wild pets, and only two BE crafted pets will EVER be able to get large enough at CL10 (Non-CH level) to be mounts, and that's the falumpaset and the dewback.
Hope this helps- good luck! ![]()
