I posted a thread in another part of the forums about wanting ewoks available as faction pets for rebels. I was assaulted from all directions by folks that hate the little guys (to put it mildly). People need to relax and have more fun when playing these games.

I witnessed a live event on server Ahazi one evening a few weeks before the CU whereI receivedthe Badge for attending a live event just because I was passing through the spaceport at Bestine, Tattooine.
Picture this, veterans back me up on this cause you don't see these things anymore, it was a battle between a 20 meter tall Giant Ewok armed with a wooden staff against a Bull Rancor. They were using the spaceport as a battle arena. The Giant Ewok won eventually. The battle lasted long enough for me to run out of the spaceport and gain a higher elevation viewfrom the nearby hilltop.
I wasn't alerted by any forum announcement of this event. I got lucky. It was a ludicrous site seeing such a giant Ewok. An armed Ewok at that, which lends some hope for the"opposable thumb" movement to arm the pets we have now.
I would support having a pet Ewok. Make it a quest pet. I would also think it would be a gas to introduce players to my Dantari Girlfriend.
Now, why did I see that? Were Ewoks available as pets pre-CU? Or are Live Events some sort of insane event to keep us players entertained?

oooo even better idea. make them a CL10 creature thats craftable by a BE after doing a quest! that way the devs wont be like... oohhhh god! those damn people who pay our salaries want us to do somthign again!
