Thread: What I hate...
...trouble with names?
I use two letter abbreviations for the special skill trait on the disposable pets I find because they were easy to find in the datapad quickly in the rush to grind with Jedi on Dantooine. The pets I intend to keep are named the same way real life pets are named, according to their character traits. I have gotten compliments for naming my twin pickets Honor and Duty. I have named twin Huurton Pup babys Hamster and Gerbil because of their extreme small size. Rat, Ratter, Swat, Shed, Slap, Dumpster (fav Sevorrt toad type), and Sully are other examples.
Choose a combat trait. Select a code of conduct. Pick a color. They all work. Keep it clean. Try Goth or Soft. Or go insane. I haven't named a pet Jedi or Sith yet, but it has dawned on me to try someday, later, later. But not right now, right now. I do see a trend in pet names designed to inspire fear and loathing in the PVP dept.
I'm all about sticking to a "theme" for all of my pets. My theme is food condiments. Here are some of my pets as examples:
twin cu pas (red and yellow) : Ketchup and Mustard
green woolamander: Guacamole
green rancor: Pickles
stoneskin hanadak: Tabasco
bull rancor: Worcestershire
my triplet greater sludge panthers: Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato
giant peko peko: Teriyaki
yellow rhoa kwi guardian: Sauerkraut
falumpaset: Horseradish
I currently have a list that I choose from when I get a new pet I want to keep of all the condiments I could think of, like Salsa, Mayonnaise, Holandaise, Relish, etc. Yes, I'm strange ![]()
Ahh what is in a name...
