Congrats I should be there myself shortly.

I too am torn over where to go next seeing as how CH has been nerfed. It doesn't seem worthwhile.

Woot! Congrats, I know the road to Survival IV is quite long.

I hope to get there shortly myself. I'm planning on this point to head up the Ranger track but that's mainly because I just like the idea of the wilderness solo'er type. I know that the Scout XP is kinda boring, but at least the requirements at first are fairly low.

Good luck in your future travels.

Grats. I'm only about 5100 wilderness xp away from that myself. I already have CH tho it seems pretty pointless with the coming uber mega nerf but I'm still having fun for now.

Just another quick note. If you only want to play a powerful class that isn't going to get nerfed, then you are in the wrong genre. MMO's as a rule strive for balance (Jedi will likely be the exception here). As such, if one class/profession appears to be notably stronger than the others, it will be brought into line. It may take some time, but it will happen. Likewise, if a class/profession/skill is notably weaker than others, it will be brought up to par eventually. Again, it may take some time, but it will happen.

This is actually a good thing though. Its what makes each character unique. It allows for everything to be played rather than just a couple FOTM's (flavors of the month). This game would suck hardcore if everybody played a creature handler or and Rifleman or any other class because it was clearly the most viable. If I wanted that I would play an FPS.

So yes, nerfs are always going to be a part of the game. Though in actuality, I think its a little early to consider anything in the game a nerf since its more of an adjustment deemed necessary by Beta 4. In the end, you just need to try to pick a template that you feel you will have fun with and hope for the best. The beauty of SWG is that it allows you to reallocate your skills, so if the devs do make something unfun for you, all you need do is respec. Sure it will take time to get the XP, but not as much time as rerolling a whole new character.

Now that's dedication and persistance! Congrats!

I was about halfway up the tree before the big patch and the latter was definitely the longest since.

Aside from my utter enjoyment of the profession, the fact that it took so long to reach Master is all the more reason why I don't plan on giving it up anytime soon.
