when is this issue going to be addressed? I just had a wonderful time on endor with my level 36 gurrcat (sarcasm for those blind to it). Seeing as i was only fighting in a group of 2 other people, both melee and capable of massively out damaging my pet, why in gods name would the mob take off chasing my pet? why would my pet even see the need to run? Why would the mob still be focussing on my pet when there are two totally different people racing each other at the top of its agro list? Did you guys even implement this agro list like you said you were? Is it anything like EQ (your true love)? Is the primary target of all fights going to be the pets now? Thanks for totally screwing up what used to be a rather intelligent game design.

it seems to me the mobs will turn on the pets master if he gets too close

i was also told by a friend that the mobs will go after whomeever is the weakest con to the mob your group is fighting

in an attempt to kill the weakest players first so as to cut down the size of the group

Aye. I experimented with this last night. I was fighting grand wrixes on corellia. First I would send in my Merek Cavern Creeper and let him wail on the GW until the GW had about 1/2 health. Then I would send in my lower level pets. My CL9 dewback drew the aggro instantly as did my CL18 Kliknik immediately after the dewback went down.

When I got in close to revive my dewback and get him out of there.... I drew the aggro.

Yes, that is true, I have seen that myself... But for the creature handler.. if true.. would always be the target and never the pet because his power IS the pet.

They need to fix this pet running like one hour from now or give the CH's something to do till they fix it.

For these situations, the best rule to follow is "One strike wins the race". All your pet has to do is hit its target once, and you get all the CH XP. When I hunt with a friend with loads of armor and unarmed combat, he will always pull agro first, then I will send in my pet on one that I am attacking with my pistol. Once it hits I pull it out, we kill the mob, then move to the next victom. He gets the fun of being a target, I get decent xp, and it works well now that PC's can tank way better than any pet can.
