Thread: Novice CH Skill
Absolutely I would. Assuming, of course, that someone already likes the idea of taming and having pets. If youlike hand to hand combator your goal isprimarily PvP, then you would want to go another direction. So, what I would recommend to someone would depend first on what interests them. But I've been CH since November (?) and still thoroughly enjoy being CH. I like exploring, finding/taming pets, hunting to harvest resources, and just like the idea of sending pets to fight for me.
Yeah, the profession has its problems but most of the professions do. Most (not all) of the complaints center around PvP andpresent day CH versus the way it used to be. I never much cared about PvP, and I just don't let The Nerf bother me anymore.I definitely thinksomeone new coming into CH would find it to still be a fun profession.
I wouldn't recomend it to a person who wants to PvP. But I would recommend anyone try it out if they have enjoyed their non CH pet and are interested in more.
The great thing about how SWG is set up is you can try on a profession for awhile and if you don't like it, you can move on to something else.

Are you a heavy PvP player? If so I would say Ch is not for you. PvP isour achilles heel. Any Other tank prof will do a better job. If you don't PvP much then CH can be great . First of all You get a rather wide variety of pets to choose from. There is a thrill you get when ya tame your first rare that I've yet to match ingame. We get to have rancors, and spiders and all sorts of weird critters as OUR pets. I like CH and have fun with it. ![]()
