Dunno if this is a fluke, but I just logged on to find both spitting rawls and veermok (and a Giant Veermok (baby), heh) spawned in my front yard along the cliffs on Naboo (4200,4700) about halfway between Kaadara and Keren. Typically I'd expect to find veermok back near the circle-swamp and closer to Keren, or far to the east), and spitting rawls in the mountains. I have never seen them so far north, although I had noticed some apparent drift in motley kaadu spawns northward but not this far.

Hmm, and three distinct vine rawl spawns as well. This is definately abnormal

Anyone else notice critters spawning in areas you aren't used to seeing them after this last patch? Seeing as they did lose Jabba's Palace this could be an abberation, or maybe they bolluxed the spawn maps/tables and didn't realize it (which would certainly impact our ability to find critters).

well the Empire has been building a lot of super speeder ways through the swamp and since the wetlands are getting destroyed the veermok and rawl habitat is diminishing. The added climate changes with publish 24 seem to have had an effect as well.

Man, that explanation is just a plausable as any the DEVs could come up with. I kinda expected a "working as intended" but I KNOW that is just a DEV code phrase for "ya', it's broke but we ain't gonna fix it!"

the truth about the spawns relocating is simple Jabba dropped his palace in a few locations to get the feel for the area and in doing so forced the respawn of lairs to migrate north for a bit ( even hutts enjoy house pack up )

any update if creatures are spawning on the barren planets? example talus

I confirm creature spawns are showing up in new places. I had a waypoint to about 4 Stoneskin Hanadak and 6 Bloodseeker MiteQueen locations on the desert plains of Endor. Each of these areas had new lairs.

Good News for me - The night before the upgrade I managed to tame the Blood Frenzied Boar Wolf and a Stoneskin Hanadak! I did this for their Area of Effect attacks. They were to compliment my Bull Rancor and Bloodseeker Mite Queen.

Bad News for me - Play testing all four pets with Area of Attack proved disappointing. I couldn't get any of them to reproduce their AoE attack the day of the new release.

Caution - I will hold onto the pets in the mean time. It took hours and kilometer of searching to find these pets. I hope their AoE is restored in a future hotfix.
