You could solo high level creatures using pets?

I picked creature handler because i could solo creatures, lairs and complete quests on my own with my pets. Not because im an anti social player but because my main ONLINE time is in the mornings when the kids are at school. Being from England this is usually a very quiet time on the servers. With this ability to solo gone i find myself struggling to find groups regularly which is extremely frustrating.

When i first got past nov creature handler i tamed a tusk cat, it was only level 16 but it could fight! and tank with the best of them. She got me through the imperial themepark, jabba's and nyms and was my favourite pet and ingame companion.

I miss being able to solo quests and missions with a pet............

There is too much emphasis on groups now.

Even jedi, the proffession that where meant be loners, in hiding, have to group to build xp.

SWG = Star Wars Groups?

I remember it well, I would be out alone most of my gameplay time. Even after joining a city and guild way back when most people new I would wander off alone for days then return with something new if not funny and fun

On a side note I find it amazing how groups won't take anyone below cl 60. Grinders and finished templates all want the cl-80's lol. There is in effect a 3 way game going on, lower cl players ostrassized unles they join a guild, mid cl players who are in a habit of bieng ignored to the point they don't care and run off alone. and the oh so powerful elite 80s.

I remember when it didnt matter and people would group up to help or to laugh a little. I see less and less of the latter. Unless of coarse you join a guild lol. Funny how you almost have to now. But stubborn people like myself won't join one for the wrong reasons "quick progress" I don't believe in guilds unless I'm sure they are filled with good people who are or can become friends.

I could take out my gnarled rancor, not full grown, and a grawl mauler, not full grown, and solo kimo's as they drew the agro.
