Ok seeing the other thread was deleated on it.
Are pet specials eliminated as part of the CU or is it a bug?
Simple question, one that I feel deserves an answer so those that are testing the CU know how to proceede.

You are referring to me I take it. You are so arrogant it's disturbing. The thread was deleted because EVERYONE was flaming, you included. Stop trying to paint yourself as some kind of saint/martyr.

If only the boards had an /addignore feature... ^^^
So anyway, what's this about pet specials being removed?

whoever it was who was helping get the thread deleted you do realize that if the post about this keeps getting deleted because no one can control themselves, this issue will be the final nerf of the CH legacy? Seriously, this is a huge deal, say goodbye to all PvP and PvE since you won't be able to have your pets last half a second in either without states, and they certainly won't do any damage in PvP. So back to the point of this all, unless we are granted about 30k max HAM on CL 70 pets, we're in quite a dire situation.

you maybey are being a little dramatic orb...imo, it would seem tactical decisions such as landing states are being removed in favor of the dramaticlly more enticing generic attack, pause, special, generic attack, special..repeat as necessary..it might no sound like a lot of fun, but there should be some really cool particle effectes, and honestly i never get tired of seeing wonderful animations..this would be soo kewl, if i were 9 again..lol

Well that's what im saying is that a dramatic increase in generic attack strength and health to pets would be needed to offset the loss of specials, those specials really murdered your foes DPS if you stuck enough of them at once :/. and why would a pet have a particle effect.....

Why anything but Jedi has a particle effect in this game is beyond me..............

Well the NSEL takes an eternity to get so it gets to be all sparkly of course, all those cold based weapons in the CU get particles because it looks coldish I guess, doctors get this awesome magical bacta heal particle effect to crash the game around everyone as a penalty for being priests and not using meds I think, TKA gets streamers because it looks all fancy pants and karate-ish or something, Nades get particle effects so that while your waiting 9 seconds to throw another one you can look at the pretty brown cloud, and CM poisons get particle effects so it looks all bubonic plague death cloudish I guess. So really, the reasons they put in particle effects for so many proffesions is obvious so far, right?
