Erm, what are all the cats in the game?

I've found all the ones called 'cat' on SWGC, but I know there are more out there not called cat but considered such.

Or at the least, what is the best cat out there?

Well, if you mean cat type pets.

You have the sludge panther/greater sludge panther and variations.

razor cat variations (those are the ones you have probably found)


Gurrcat types ( swamp stalker being the coolest/rarest)

And the Gurrek of various types.

Personally I use gurreks almost exclusively, they are small so dont obstruct the view fighting inside caves etc, quite fast(although all cats seem to be pretty consistent there), seem to be much less prone to the pathing/runnning bugs that our pets suffer, but of course, most importantly, I like the way the look best.

Visual impact is probably greatest from the greater sludge panther (or great plains stalker) as they are much bigger than other cats, in fact, I would say they are logicallly big ebough to be used as mounts, never implimented, but the only reason for them to be the size they are that I have ever thought of

That would be cool.

But then again, if it was size they were going for....why isn't a malkok a multi-person mount?

I'm just trying to get some decent pets atm. I've picked a few up here and there at vendors, but most seem to be fairly crap. Just now I'm looking for cats at about CL16 fully grown so I can get some decent xp coming in.

It's not grinding, i've done CH already, before anyone says anything
