Thread: varactyl egg hatching

cant find any specs on the adult varactyl...guess is a cl 65...but what about health/attack ect....my g/f wants to know..she got her egg last night and is wondering if she should keep or sell.....and these stats are the deciding factor..

Its got your basic stats for a pet his level... 6500ish ham and 390ish dmg. Only good thing bout him is he wont die if a krayt sneezes on him, like his cl10 brother does, and he is faster than most mounts. I didnt like him at first... but he does seem a lil quiker so I kept him.

Me neither, can someone enlighten us on this quest please. I've not heard anything about it, and although i have the DD CL10 varactyl, I'd love to have another one and at CL65 to boot

I rather like my CL65 one. Probably the best non-BE pet I have, and I've noticed sometimes that he hassome kind ofranged attack, he'll spit at an enemy if it's far away when I tell him to attack.
You startthe questby going to the rodian camp in the southeast corner of the map on Kashyyyk (just fly out of Kachirho and head east, then south. There are lots of hostile varactyls around.) On the west side of the camp, there should be a rodian standing next to a varactyl. I forget his name, but he starts the quest.
The CL65 version isn't any faster than the CL10, unfortunately, but obviously a good bit more robust to taking damage while traveling... And if you need a defender on-the-spot, he does pretty well.

Yes. Though you could probably control a CL65 a bit before Master, the questgiver NPC only responds to MCH's who got the Direct Download, to my knowledge.
And just in case you were wondering, thecaged Genosian outside Kachirho gives the CL10 bolotaur quest.

Yeah, I got me a Bolotaur. not as nice as my varactyl though me thinks
