Don't buy anything that lists damage over 400. 400 is the absolute maximum under the current system and those other pets are rellics of the old system. They will likely be uncallable and even if you can call them their stats will be adjusted to be "average" for their level.
Many of the folks that sell pets don't know anything about their actual use by a CH and price them based on things they don't understand. Read the boards, especialy the BE boards to be an informed consumer.

I'd say about 9K HAM and barely hitting or getting near 400 max damage is a good balance between health and damage, but no pet really can be worth 30 million credits, especially not a pre-BE revamp one with 1000 max damage which won't even function :/.

Never be quick to judge. There are always holes in the system. Anyone who say my level 213zucca can testify, and before he passed level 70 he was doing sadistic damage. Though I will thoughtfully point out that any pet doing 1000 damage would be deemed an exploit.
I would pass it up even if its one of those rare slipped through the cracks useing it would get you banned faster then anything the first time you used it to kill a krayt gorax or other player.

This will have to be on a wait and see basis till we get more of the new system on TC to test. its coming out in smaller packages, so its like doing baby steps. One part at a time.
