If you train an animal to be a mount before it's fully grown will it stunt the growth process? I remember this is how it worked when mounts were first introduced, dunno if that's been fixed or what.

yes the keep small, cause the saddle hinders their growth

so does that meanyou should wait until its fully grown before training it as a mount??

The only creature I've had this problem with is a Giant Carrion Spat. All my other creatures reached full size after being mounted.

No.


The exception is the giant carrion spat which must be stunted to only reach 12(18) if you want to keep riding it. The system will pop up a dialog box giving you the option when the creature hits that level and you call it. If you don't stunt it the saddle remains but you can't ride it.
