I am just looking to see if there is some sort of pattern to when the most GPS can be found. On of the CH in Beast on Flurry got hers at 11:30am EST, the person I read yesterday who just got their GPS tamed it around 11am. I am lookign to see if there id a definate pattern to this or if I am just hoping way to much. I know that some may have tamed theirs in the afternoon or evening or night, but I want to see when the most were tamed.

REMEMBER THE CREATURE HANDLERS!

According to what I read on SWGcreatures.com, they spawn most often around the Lord Nyax cult poi on Corellia. I went to the poi just before server reset and set a waypoint right in front of the Nyax door. Right after server reset, I started doing circles using that waypoint in 200m increments. I saw my first ever GPS about 400m out. Each spawn spot spawns up to 4 GPS, and according to some people, a baby will only spawn on the 3rd or 4th spawn from a particular spot. A GPS will only spawn one at a time, so this means that you have to kill one to get the next to spawn. If you are even remotely advanced into an elite combat profession, you should be able to take it without being buffed. You'll want some of your best pets out though, and you're gonna need to heal yourself if you have the capability (I only have novice medic). I used my twin greater sludge panthers, Murasame and Masamune. This was thier first time in combat as a team, as I only advanced my max pet level to 55 the night before.

Using the search pattern above, I was able to tame my GPS within 3 hours of my first day of even looking. It was the 7th GPS to spawn, and I got him on the 4th or 5th tame, even while wearing my +25 wild/vicious sunguard. They break scent like crazy too, I was wearing +13 masc/camo pants, and +13 masc/camo shirt.

I tamed mine around 2am PST (2 hours before server reset). It was near thearea they are found but still on the outskirts of that region. I was able to tame it on the 1st try with no taming bonuses.
