I've been zabrak for 14 months, all my alts are zabrak. I am looking to start a new character that will be TKM+MCH and would really like to hear opinions.

Main question is if Wookie is the way to go for the creature handler bonus. And if that bonus makes all other race choices for CH not even worth looking at.

Hate to sound like a second day noob, but i only know zabrak...

The +10 on creature handler for Wookies does not do much, if anything. I've not noticed an increase in taming abilitieson my Wookie on Starsider, except with BE enhanced clothing. However, Wookies being the coolest looking beings in the galaxy, are a great choice. No biases here, of course.

It seems that the +10 taming bonus doesn't seem to get you any better creatures in the end, just better creatures earlier. Plus you have limited armor/clothing for wookiee. Trando's get unarmed bonus, good for TK, and harvesting bonus, good for scout, but you can't wear boots or gloves. Tough call. I've got a wookiee CH but he's rifleman, mostly for PvE, pretty useless PvP but still pretty cool to play a wookiee.

wait til after JTL comes out... there are 2 new races to choose from then...

but if ya don't wanna wait, try human.. mit all stats to the mind... you'll feel the mind drain of TK alot less that way...

if you want to try these different species out goto a TC2 with a frog... then test them out and see what fits you best...

I can just see a "Wait for the Combat Revamp" and "Wait for the Smuggler Revamp" quote all rolled into one.
"Wait for the Smuggbat Revamp"
Smuggbat, I like that

The armor limitations with Wookies have been more than addressed. The Wookie Hunting Armor is just as good as the best composite. As far as clothing, we Wooks have always been sparingingly clothed. Still, we have enough to choose from to make us happy.

problem with wookie armor is that we can't wear + to tamingclothing under it whenwearing a full set.
