(First, off this is for the Starsider Server, and yes I have posted this in the Trade forums as well)

I have seen CL 10 Cu Pa's running around outside of Bestine so I know they are around. I am looking for a CH that will tame one, train it up to full size, and train it as a mount. Give me some estimates as to what that may cost. I just skimmed through a post about someone asking a CH for a lvl 10 pet and offering only 5k. You tell me what it is worth for your trouble. Name your own price.

The BIG problem nowadays is that only a CH can grow a cu pa to level 9 or 10, when it can be mounted, and the only way to do it is by grinding it up in combat. And we're talking turning it over 9 or 10 times, which is probably three three hour playsessions doing nothing but fight the cu pa. So you're asking a CH for a lot of his time now to get one.

100k is the very least I'd consider, given that the pet must be on my datapad and I have to devote my play time to grinding it up, instead of grinding my own pets for my own play.

Agreed.... anything below 150k is absurdly cheap. If you want specials trained to it as well... pricing should be much higher. You will now see a major difference in the CH prices.. The cu'pa's are a pain to level to mount size... 8-10 roll overs, I just finished maturing one for a friend not sure if I'd spend that much time doing it again.

I have one of these on Eclipse that I trained up and taught some abilities... andI only did it because I was able to hunt with it at the same time as I was working on other pets whose abilities I was grinding... and it was something of an experiment for me as well.

I haven't decided yet what I am going to do with it... it seems a waste to just delete it at this point since it was so much trouble grinding it up, but I may yetend up doing that just to free up the datapad space if I don't find a buyer.

therare a few of us us ch's thinking about training non-ch pets to sell but yeah it'l cost you at least 100k if you want one fully matured and with the basic training (default commands) extra if you want specials.

5k seemed like the average price charged for a mount before the recent ch changes.
but thats in the past due to it mainly more tim econsuming plus work to roll the pets. i plan on have a few non-ch fully mature and ready to train specials if needed on me in the near future but for now i need the spaces for petds i can learn specials from then get my more permanent pets first before i raise pets to sell. and i think lots of other ch's are in the same boat as well. so for non-ch pets arn't going to be as available as they used to be

just forget about the time line it nolonger exits her hasn't for some time. we're in a virtual star wars universe and it our time line not the movies. so its what we make of this universe ourselves. once this is realized then you'll start having fun

Yep totally agree. It's going tobe at least a month before I get back to the point of being able to tame non-ch mounts.

When I do I plan on pricing as follows:

100k Mount trained, Standard commands (NO SPECIALS)

150k Mount trained, Standard commands, Pet has innate special (there when tamed) -or- 1 trained special

200k Mount trained, Standard commands, 2 trained specials

250k Mount trained, Standard commands, 3 trained specials

300k Mount trained, Standard commands, 4 plus trained specials

This is pretty simillar to my pricing scheme as well. I personally count a level 3 ability trained as 3 abilitys.

Yeah,I won't even waste my time training them up, even if it only took 3 hours and you could sell them for 150k you'd make 50k an hour. That's simply not worth it, I can do missions for 10k and make more and have a chance at getting CA's etc. It was kind of fun the first couple days, but afterward it's just a boring grind that I refuse to do.

I will find and tame a Non-Ch mount for 75k(even if it has a special), but you have to level it, then bring it back and I'll train it as a mount for free(well included in the 75k). Simple as that, I will add some specials at 25k per level, so going from L1 to L3 is 75k, then if you want another at L2 that's another 50k,. And so on.

So far I've had 2 people that I tamed, then they trained and I then mounted them. No takers on specials as yet.

I have a few lvl10s that I did the xp grind with and who are just waiting on specials. I spam the auction channel that I have them available and so far I've gotten ONE question about non-CH mounts. I told them they could have it right away with 5 specials trained including kd and anything else he wanted (I had about 30 learned at that point). When they asked the price I replied with 250k. I had no idea what to charge, but that seemed high enough for my trouble. The guy asked me what kind of drugs I was on and wanted to know if I really expected someone to pay that much for a non-CH mount. I explained the system to him and refered him to the CH forum for info about specials. After a while the guy came back to me and said the new stuff looks nice, and offered me 20k for a fully trained pet. *sigh*

I like this price scheme and I think I'll follow it

non-CHs have the option not to deal with me, but then again, i have the option to /addignore Mr20k too.
