Thread: When will I get my pet special abilities?

I am a MCH and novice rifleman 3002, with a level 65 BE gurreck. I have leveled my pet at least 4 times that I counted. I have 2 ability slots and 60 training points. When I click on train pet, it says that I have nothing to teach it. My pet has not learned any innate abilities and I'm constantly using him in battle. Can someone please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

With a pet that high, it sounds like he is about ready to teach you. Mine have usually taught me in between levels, usually while I am fighting with them. Hang in there, and an orange message will pop up at you when you least expect it!

Ok, the only way you can actually learn the special abilities is by taming animals with these skills as innates and then training them to learn their skill. BE'd pets are not capable of having innate skills so you will never learn these from your Gurreck, although you will be able to teachit other skills you learn from wild tames.
Please read the stickies their are guides to what to do basically and also some of the pets that these skills can be learnt from.
