Non-CH = 2 creatures, 5 droids, and 3 faction perks

That is possible, however it is only due to a loop hole in the system that allows you to claim a reward pet, even though you the max number of pets in you datapad already.

Hmm, if it's only two then I'll have to check my TKM/MDoc. I thought for sure I had three. I've been playing with my MCH so much I have completely forgotten what my TKM/MDoc even looks like .

It's possible to receive a pet reward that exceeds the non-CH datapad capacity of two animals. Let's say you have three animal control devices in your datapad. If you trade one of those pets to someone for training, you will not be able to get it back, because it would exceed your two-animal limit. Something similar happened to me, except that I had 23 control devices rather than three.

That's my experience also, quest andreward claimpets that are generated right to the datapad (as opposed to being in deed form) will gladly exceed someone's normal pet limit, both for CH and non-CH players. Not a problem, as long as they are just keeping them, but I have twice had non-CH players want me to fully train and/or name a pet, only to find out that they were not able to accept it back in trade when I was done, because they had already been beyond their limit before they traded it to me. I try to always remember now to first ask non-CH players exactly how many pets they have in their datapad, before I let them trade one to me for training/naming/mounting.
