Well, I've been CH for a while now, and I still haven't managed to find a quick way to get CH exp besides running around and taming/training everything in sight. Is this the only way? Or have others discovered some other ways?

Thanks for the info!

The fastest way is to get into a big group on Dantooine (pets dont need to be grouped). Attack each creature with your pet/s ONLY !! I heal people after each kill (CM) to be of some use.

Skill based system, turn based combat, Teras Kasi, Creature Handler,
Ranger, BioEnginer, Swordsman, Fencer, Pikeman, Brawler, Riflemen,
Pistoleer, Carbineer, Scout. Skill, true Jedi, working economy, crafter
and entertainers that matter, professional interdependence. People,

Cool! I'll check it out. I've always tried that, but also attacked the creature as well. We'll see how it works out with just the pet.

Thanks =)

Why should you only attack with your pets? I've always attacked also. If you can give a little insight I'd appreciate it. I need a break from taming....I think I'm losing my mind from all the training and taming to get xp and new abilities!

I have noticed that the more damage the pet does, the higher the ch xp you get.

If I join in and shoot the critter while pet is attacking, I get less ch xp.

The GROUP IN DANTOOINE tactic works great! I capped out CH (for Jedi conversion) in about an hour.

Well, it's kind of like switching weapons in the middle of a fight. If you're soloing a particular mob that gives 6000 xp and you do 75% of the damage to it with a rifle and 25% of the damage with a pistol, you'll get (roughly) 4500 rifle xp and 1500 pistol xp. {I can't guarantee that it's a straight percentage calculation, states and stuff may be weighted differently, but the concept appears sound}

In the same way, doing 75% of the damage with a rifle and 25% of the damage with your pet, you'll get 4500 rifle xp and 1500 CH xp.

If you're in a group, that percentage split is calculated based on the damage done by you and your pet. So if you partner up with someone who does 50% of the damage, you do 30% of the damage and your pet does 20% of the damage, the CH split of your xp reward will be 20% (pet) / 50% (you + pet) = 40%,6000 * 40% = 2400 CH xp.

I'm not sure yet how multiple pets would work with this system, I got Management 3 just after pub 22's xp display change, and checking my actual CH xp gain per kill is tougher.
