Creature Handler Archive

I have spent the last thee hours or so wandering around Dath, looking for babies to tame. Got me a rancor and a mutant baz nitch (btw, still shows up as a control device). Lost maskscent in the middle of a tame of a craggy bolma, had to run away, lost the baby through poofing,I think.

The problem is training. No matter which command you select from the radial menu, the command is bound to the "follow me" command. I've confirmed this on two pets (the newly kidnapped rancor and a male brack I picked up last night). You can't train anything but 'follow me'. Needless to say, this limits the utility of the pet.

My hope is that the live servers are not experiencing this. I've reported this via /bug, and on the beta forums.

I'll test myself on beta tonight. Last night I tamed and trained multiple new babies on live without any problems like this, so hopefully this is just on beta and will be fixed asap.

Just logged into beta after the servers were taken down earlier, and a new patch pushed to clients.

This one is fixed. Jfreeman is still my hero!
