If my creature level was 45 would i be able to have 5 level 9 pets out at once or 4 level 11s or whatever

No, you can use 1 pet at novice, up to 2 pets at Creature Management 3 and up to 3 pets at Master CH. Can't zerg with CH, unless you consider 3x23s a zerg.

Not exactly... Until you go up the management tree, you can only call one pet, but at Management 3 you can call one additional pet for a total of 2 pets, and MCH you can call another for a total of 3 pets... that's the most you'll be able to call. However, you are correct in that the pet levels total must add up to your control lvl, i.e. at MCH, lvl 70, you can call a level 20, and 2 level 25's, etc. Hope that helps

cheers im really only thinking of doin ch to have 2 pharples called rippah and tooth but they arent tameable atm
