Hello all I jsut recently picked up Novice CH, but I wanted to know what tapes work and do not work. THat way I dont end up buying tapes that dont work. And also, I know that the price varies from server to server but what is the usall price you all pay for tapes, and what type of tapes should I look for ?

The tapes that give you more pets out and more pet storage are bogus. It was determined in beta that they woudl be "unbalancing", and so they were turned off, but like so many skill tapes, they were left in the loot tables to tantalize and confuse players. Yet another cheap trick by the developers.

Pick up BE enchanced Taming clothing. A +25 Taming hat or a combination up to +25 in other clothes will be all you ever need.

i got a tape +5 pets =0/

give it a try. with the way things work in SWG it might actually work these days.

although8 pets totaling lvl70 won't be very powerful.... maybe good for taking down dwarf nuna's

the only CH tapes that work are the bonuses to taming. there's a list in the scylla trade forum that lists all the skill mods in game and whether or not they work.

I would have to agree with the BE'd, Creature taming tissues working great. I have a +14 Taming Vicious/Wild Creatures Swoop hat. I noticed a significant difference in my ability cull the creatures into my datapad in less tries. Very worth it to get the Taming tissues.

I especially, noticed it the other day when trying to tame a Boar Wolf (Baby). I forgot to put the hat on and failed 3 times before I noticed. Dawned the hat and BAM!...in the datapad. I saw a second Boar Wolf (baby) and got him on the first try with the help of the hat.

I have asked this questions many times without receiving a solid answer. Even though I think I know the answer. Are the Pluses from tapes andBE clothes capped at +25?

When taming I have pants +15, shirt +15, and jacket +15. Am I getting +45, Am I getting only +15, or am I capping out at +25?

Any answers would be appreciated.

Yes, the cap is +25. (Temporary buffs like those given from food do stack, however.)

That +25 cap applies to any skill from any combination of items.
