Let ID's change the color on our pets...we could then individualize our pets better...if we can't find that Albino Rancor in the wild...let us be able to MAKE one...the female pets would love it..and the IMAGE DESGINERS would be PACKED with customers....let this be done by the lower level Designers...to help them gain levels easier....we have LOT'S of pets...they need LOT's of XP (read their forums...they don't get much) we could help each other out!.....

Um be pets can be created to a certain color pallet.

Yeah, the BEs would probalby create a killer virus to assassinate Image Designers if they were able to do that. Hmmm. . .

Another way to do this is to make kits for it like we have for vehicles and robots. Make a pet customization kit. That way it gives artisans something else to do and since I think kits wear off, it wouldnt really take away from the BE's market. Just a thought.

Let the BEs make a kit that IDs use to make a semi-permanent color change.

Actually since it is for a creature, having BE's make the kits does make more sense than artisans. I just didnt think of it at the time I posted.

If I am correct (and I believe I am just have to find the patch notes) with the Droid customization changes, the droid goes back to one BLANK or DEFAULT color. For instance, my droid is purple and black. If I customize him to Red and Green and that fades away he fades to Default which I believe is silver or white for my R2.
This wouldn't really effect BE mind you but once you've paid for an albino and customize it to melanistic, amelanistic, or anerytherist, then customize it I wouldn't be suprised to find it some drool color when the dye wears off.

Or maybe they'd clone petswith image design abilities... Boy, imagine the hackles it would raise if a professionbelittled another profession's key abilities!

Idea: Have the BE make the customization kits but make them only usable by Artisans. just a thought

I like the original posters idea of having image designers do the work. They can't afford BE tools and artisians have enough on their plate.
Besides what's the point of having a trophy (pet) if you can't customize it. Can't wait for my purple maklock (already named Barney)
On the flip side though, I almost guarantee people would complain about the unstarwarsiness(TM) of pink razor cats and albino rancors.
