Make every animal have a random (male) or (female).

A CH tames a baby, and raises it in a new player structure, a farm, as you will, farms advance based on level of CH, the creatures raised in them are auto-milked, and their (sheddings) are automatically collected, like a mineral extractor.

Or just have farms to breed and get new babys, each generation gets improved HAM perhaps. The creatures you put into a farm are visible, and can be set to attackable.

Good Idea or no?

The idea about a farm is good, especialy for BE and Chefs, who need milk a lot.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.
