Thread: Strange pet/target behavior in combat...

I have had to change my tactics dramatically since the coming back to the CU. One of the things I have tried is pull one creature, throw a phecnacine dart, kneecap it, then send in theone 40sh level pet and one 20sh level petsince they dont tank that well now. Being a rifleman I thencircle strafe likecrazy


But one thing that happens with this is that the target will appear to be 20m or greater from me. My pets will be a similar distance from the target but are still attacking. Meanwhile the creature is hitting me even though its 20m away or so even if its melee only. The pets spin and do silly things until the target dies. Then the target slides right next to me. Odd very odd. Working as intended??? Anyone else notice this? Not game breaking but annoying

i have noticed this too..i initially thought the pets stopped attacking once i got the aggro, but if you check the combat, you see they are still attacking. i think it may be possible ranges of pet attacks have increased, making it appear very odd..at least compared to what we were used to..

Melee is supposed to be limited to a 6m range.


Have you guys bugged this in game?


If not you should so it will get some attention.

I hadn't bugged it yet. I have only been back about a week. Everything else is so buggy I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be this way But I will do so now...
