Hello All,
For those who remember me, though I have been away for some time now, I have kept track of this forum quite closely. For those who may be wondering, I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey as a dwarf hunter in WoW. But, I have missed my pets here, especially in ways that WoW's Hunter class lacks when compared to Galaxies Creature Handler profession.
I have always said I would return, even if only briefly, to check what the combat upgrade has to offer. With many more creatures being tamable now, especially BMBQ's, Radiant Lantern Birds, Merek Harvesters, among others, my interest has been renewed somewhat. I imagine myseelf returning to WoW once my thirst has been quenched to tame the creatures which I have desired but alluded me so long.
Wallach, I am sorry to hear you are leaving, but I certainly understand why. It appears to me without even having logged in yet that CH and the game as a whole remains a mess. Such wonderful potential there was. What an opportunity lost.
Vert, thanks for supporting such a vocal profession for so long. We have been supportuve, critical, rude, and in some nstances unkind to you in your history here. If only one thing can be said of the CH coomunity, it is we adore our profession. We hve been fortunate to have you as our crrespondent.
I'm sure it will be nteresting to see what happens once I log in tonight. Hopefully, Pem will still be there, with all his pets intact. If not, my stay will be much shorter than intended. If I am not on Galaxies, one can safely assume I am on WoW. I am under the names Krugan and Pem on the Medivh server, for those who might have any interest.
It is nie to be able to post again. There has been much I have wanted to say, but have had to remain silent. Atleast this month I will be able to voice myself if the mood strikes.
Hopefully, it will be good to be back.

greetings pem..good to hear from you again!! the curb is definately different, for sure, and yes there are a lot of new tamables, unfortunately you have no additional room, so decisions have to be made if you want that frenzied graul or arachne queen...which aren't too hard to find btw....good luck, hope to see you soon---hoss

A transition is occuring of which you have seen, many legends and heroic figures are departing for lands unknown. it is a sad time Pem, It is however good to see you post again, I can only hope that as long as a single ch is in this game that people like you will always be remembered.

Welcome back Pem.
I played WoW during my hiatus from SWG as well. I have a female dwarf hunter. I reached level 38 and the pet thing started bugging me so bad (wanting SWG's CH) that I had to stop playing and come back. I was gone a full year. Throughout that time not much changed, which was surprising. I joined up a month before the CU was scheduled to hit and started in right away. The game felt fresh and new to me even though it was familiar. By the time the CU hit I was prepared. I had MCH back (new character, different server) and TKM to use for respec.
Everything's been great. When you do see the new CU, don't take it at face value and dismiss it. Delve deeper and give it a chance. There's a lot of good in this combat upgrade, even though there were new bugs introduced and existing bugs not fixed.
