If you're not having fun, take a break.
I went away for eight months and although things are as buggy as ever, I'm having fun again. Stuff your house and inventory as full as you can. Make sure things are paid up for however long you think you might be gone, then come back when you feel you're ready.
If you really don't want to leave... take some stress-management courses.

My optimism has bottomed out like so many before me. My logical side tells me to just leave, but the side of me that loves Star Wars, SWG (what it used to be), and my guild, begs me to weather the storm in the hopes that eventually there will be a light in the darkness.
My thoughts have been slipping into the realm of CoH, even though I burn out in a short time due to it being nothing but endless combat. I just don't know if I can take SOE ruining my favorite game and proffesionmuch longer. I'm running out of reasons to be a CH; can't fight anything, nothing worth collecting that still spawns, and every time something good comes along, SOE ****s it up almost immediately (I can't believe Female Narg triplets lasted as long as they did).
Even space isn't enough to keep me occupied. There are only so many times you can blow up a vette before it starts to get old. The new ships have no real value except the Belbullab-22 and the Eta-2 Actis, although I've collected all of them available to a neutral pilot (Belbullab, JSF, ARC-170, and Vaksai).
My logical side is winning the debate. Can anyone else think of any reason to stay?
