Thread: Ancient reptilian flyer (baby)

I hit MCH last night and I went straight to Dathomir to check if I could tame something. After one hour I find Ancient reptilian flyer (baby) and after 30 mins of cuddling and petting I finally tamed her. But why does it have some strange box on datapad, not normal critter icon? Is it going to get removed from the game or something more sinister?

Just sounds like a bugged display...
Seems to happen most often with pets that animate in your datapad. Most often this happesn to me with Probots. If you log out and back in, it should display correctly, unless the pet icon is bugged for this specific pet....
BTW, congrats on your new friend.

Ever since first playing this game nearly two years ago, the ancient reptillian flyer icon has always displayed like this on all PC's and accounts that i and my friends have access too. dunno why

My reptilian flyers tamed over a year ago are showing the same way. I have a Kinad Baz Nitch which shows the control device. This is just another example of the lack of consistency which continues to erode the credibility and enjoyment of the game.

I also have a kinad baz nitch and reptilian flier whose data pad icons are different.......maybe because they are elite??? or over cl 65 "wild pets" just a thought.

My guess would be that they had an issue with the data pad icon.
It wasn't fixed before the game went live so the Reptilian flyer ended up with the default apearance in the data pad (the question box) and it's just never been fixed.
The rebel trooper i had showed up in my data pad as a camera, and i had another pet with a weird data pad display (I forget what it was though).
Their just small cosmetic bugs that were never fixed.
Nothing sinister, just odd.

It's just a display bug that has been around since beta. It has no significance other than a lack of, or pointing to, the wrong datapad model. (Similarly with the baz nitch's camera icon as mentioned.)
