I realize that the pet level will continue to increase after a pet has been mounted, but is the physical size/growth stunted?

in fact with the giant carrion sprat you can mount it immediately you tame it, although if your a 9 foot wookiee it does look rather strange riding into a city hehe

Hehe, I've always wanted to see what my wook would look like riding a tiny mount.....feet dragging along the ground accompanied by much laughter from passing Meat Lumps...

The size and CL of a Giant Spat will be stunted once mounted at level 12(18).

The giant spat is the ONLY mount critter that does this.

All the rest continue to grow to their full adult size. You can train a savage humbaba as a mount at CL 6, and it will continue to grow to CL 24, and you'll ride around with all others looking like ants below you, to include people using jet packs!
