Thread: vitality question
So is the only way to repair vitality with a vita pack? I ran a planet wide search on Tatoo the other day and couldn't find a single one? So eventually the pet just wears out and needs replacement when the stats start to be hit? Haven't found anyone that could or would explain this a little better. Hope someone can help.
Also does the Use Vitapak menu selection on the circle menu just cause the creature to consume the pak or does it have another funtions also. Have heard different things about that. My pet also doesn't seem to want to regen red and green in the data pad. This is normal or bugged?? Thanks in advance for advice. ![]()

(sorry if this was asked already but neither search nor the FAQ's didnt answer that or I was blind...)
I respeced my Rifle/Ranger to CH/Ranger, tamed some pets and my char was "on idle". (Its an alt on a different server)
Last week I could start to "test" my template. (I cant respec anymore, so I will keep it. I think its nice, except all the bugs and nerfes lol)
I always had a lvl10 BE-Pet with me, so I have some pre-CU health- and vitality-stims.
I wanted to try the vitality stim on my pet that incaped several times (only 96/100 but I wanted to test it)
Now my pet is at 99/99 vitality? Is that right? A lot of CH's "complained" that pets would never die, u could use them over and over again without any fear to lose them. But if this is right any pet can become useless as soon as it reaches a certain vitality level. OK, this could take some time but anyways...
Is there a way to get 100/100 again?
Is this a bug with my pre-CU stims?
Or is this intended to give pets a "decay" like weapons?
This is one of the few things that is actually "working as intended" (for real working as intended). For every 25% out of 100 points of vitality a pet loses it takes a 25% reduction in stats. IE a pet with a vitality of 75/100 would take a 75% reduction in stats, a pet witha vitality of 74/74 would take the same 25% reduction in stats, a pet with 50/60 vitality would take a 50% reduction, and a pet with 25/90 would take a 75% reduction in stats. Your pet will never truely die but it will become more or less useless after a certain point. I suggest you wait untill your pet reaches 76 vitality before using any packs (and when you do use vit packs use the strongest ones possible) this will return your pet to 99/99 vitality and will prolong the use of your pets.
This is to keep pets on par with other item decay rules and its on the issue/request list to have ADKs apply to pets to make them immune to vitality loss.
