I read a thread here the other day about a special type of Baz nicht that can hold the aggro.... What was the creature's correct name?

It was probably a Kinad Baz Nitch. It islevel 70, so the stats are nice.

I've been using one to tank for me on occaison, and it does a decent job of holding aggro as long as you don't over do it with your attacks.

What do you mean about that?

Well, none ofmy pets (regardless of level) have been able to hold aggro for me when I use my strongest ranged attacks. The more damage you do, the more likely the enemy will switch their attacks to you.

But if you use some of your weaker attacks, and attacks which cause status changes without doing much real damage(like knock down, confusion, etc) then your pet should be able to hold aggro.

lol, yep you'll probably have problems with such a nice weapon. I use a 330 dps scatter gun and still draw aggro if I'm not paying attention.

When I want my pet to tank, I first make sure auto attack is turned off. So that I can control how much damage I do. During the battle, I start with a few status changing attacks and then throw in a couple stronger attacks towards the middle and end of the fight.

Just make sure youpause betweenpowerful damaging specials for atleast several seconds, or you will definatly draw aggro away from your pet.
