I was running missions on Endor and tabbed to see what enemys were lurking.
Then the the babies showed. I nearly fell of my chair
I`ve been to Endor multiple time but neven seen BWR babie.
I tamed then both, it got killed but I did get them in the end.
I might be tempted to sell for the right price.
Now just to get my Bull Rancor.
PST me in game at Eomer if you want to see them.

I don't think these are rare or anything. What's the big deal with these pets?

I also have two of the Savage Boars and the following text explains why I like to use them a lot.
Initiallywhilst doing the CH TreeI tamed two Standad Boars from Endor which are CH level 25 Each - HAM is circa 9K and with Kinetic Resists of 50%
When I made MCH my first goal was to find a pair of Savage Boars - this literally took a few weeks to find them so whilst they are not common I would say that they are semi rare.
Savage Boar are CH level 35 and have a HAM of 10.5 K and 50% kinectic and 50% Blast Resistance and are ideal as a pair.
Being also a MRM I use my Savage Boars a lot when soloing.
For example when taking Force Crystal Hunters (FCH)on Dantooine it is rare for one pet, irrespective of its CH level, to last until I have taken down the FCH - thus when my pet dies I will have to burst run away or risk dying.
Sending two Savage Boars in means that the FCH has to damage its way through circa 20K+ (2x10)of Savage Boar HAM (no pun intended lol) at 50% kinetic untilit gets to me- this essentially allows me to attack my target from 50M with Advanced Straf Shot and a few short minutes later FCH is pushing up the daisies.
Advantage is that the FCH only attacks one pet at a time whilst I can have bothpets dealing damage.
On the whole I do not choose pets because of how they look or the damage they deliver - my preference is a good combination of HAM and highresistances which these Savage boars deliver.
Side Note: One of the main problems in people choosing a pet is that many see a pet as a **edit** Extension, as opposed to a tank/weapon- how many times have you seen people "larging it" outside Coronet Starport thinking their massive oversized Fambaa or similar with its crappy resists and even crappier HAM is the dogs b*ll**ks?
The locationin which I now semi-consistently find Savage Boar babies is in a very remote spot right at the very edge of the Endor map and this is the only place I have found them.
Once can see a few Savage Boar adults wandering around and occasionally a lair - even more rarely a baby!
So, what other combos are available that are level 35, with minimum 50% kinetic resistance and 10.5K HAM that is NOT BE Engineered?

Savage boars? I've never even seen one, adult or baby. 2 pets at 50% kinetic resist would be great combo. What's its exact name? Wanted to look up its stats on swg. creatures but it's not listed as savage boar.

They are reputed to be good PvP tanks when used in pairs. I have yet to find out for sure or not. I own one, haven't seen another in the wild in a few days. But I'm not really after them, either. I've been trying to get a Screecher baby to spawn for 72 hours and have only gotten one so far and was unsuccessful *grumbles naughty words under his breath*.

Sorry my mistake - it should read "Boar Wolf Ravager"
http://swg.allakhazam.com/db/bestiary.html?swgbeast=1879
Contact me in game on Farstar for a WP to a semi consistent area for lairs.
I also had a phase of refering to Savage Quenkers as "Savage Quakers" lol.

I've had a pair of Ravagers for a long time ... great PvE pets with their resists, although they have no armor ... they go down as quickly as anything else in PvP.

one thing i really liked about the boar wolves and boar wolf ravagers is that when i used them in hunting groups (hunting sharnaffs or squills) they made me really nice CH XP comapred to other pets, they were not fully grown, level 6 or 9 or something so i had to heal them a little to keep them on thier feet, but nice XP
