I just tamed one and I had never seen a baby before. just curious. I thought it was cool either way.

As rare as a fambaa lair, normally they spawn in the 3rd wave.

By no means rare. They've been around since publish 4 or 5, IIRC.

They just aren't that great for pets, probably better for show. So, they aren't usually seen around.

Yeah, they're mainly for making noise. As combat pets they're not that great.
