Well if it isnt holding aggro get L2 - I have a reptilian flyer with innate L3 and I have NEVER, not once, lost aggro on any mob up to and including krayts. So if you are getting aggro with L1 all i can say is there MUST be a difference if the level of aggression applied to a pet as I have never lost it with L3

I would say they don't know what they're talking about. As a rifleman/ch thisis what I've experienced:

Agression:

Lvl1 - Doesn't help worth crap to be honest unless I can leave my pet to smack the NPC on it's own for QUITE some time.

Lvl2 - Works well against equal CL'ed npc's. Once they start getting a couple of cls above or as of post Pub24, elite/bosses, then it doesn't hold agrovery well.

Lvl3 - I have yet to manage to break this one.

My pet's been having a pretty hard time holding aggro every since I got him (CL65 varactyl from the RotW quest). So I tried giving him Aggression L1 and it helped a little. Not nearly enough though. I talked to a few people and they told me that Aggression L2 and L3 aren't really that big of upgrades, and most people don't bother wasting slots on them. Is that true?

If it is, how would I go about getting my varactyl to hold aggro better? Should I give him Marring Storm? Are there any other abilities out there that might help him hold aggro? Thanks.
