Ok this is getting OLD FAST!

I am on corellia on Temepst right now. I have tried to tame 5 low level babies that ARE tabeable and get this stupid message that says YOU CANT TAME THAT!!!

Someone PLEASE tell me how to fix this junk!!

Makes being a CH jsut impossible.

is it an agressive animla? if you don't have some of the first tier in CH then you can't tame Aggresive animals.

This bug is related to server boundaries and particular areas on planets.

For example, Razor Cat Island on Corellia, SE of Doaba Guerfel (the one with the wind farm on it), seems to be a "no tame" zone.

Step away from the area, and you can tame things again.

I've encountered this bug on Corellia, Naboo, and Tatooine. There are areas where no matter what your skill in taming is, you get this message, even when attempting to tame a dwarf nuna, a gnort, or a Corellian butterfly.

if you cant tame it try to examine the pet it will probably say tamable NO I found just the ones I cant tame has that message and the bug usually hits me on variuos spots of correllia

There IS indeed a fix for that bug.

Its in my sig.

Comman and frustrating bug, seems to be affected by the area your in, move about 1000m away and try tame something else.

Unfortunatly thats all you can do, i find shooting the baby you cant tame adds closure

As I have just recently said "I can't believe this is still a bug"

You know whats really interesting is all the people who say "Stop whining", "you don't like change", "your lazy", "I'm a programmer and soe tries really hard", "why don't you quit then", 'this is the best game becausegrinding is fun and it is content".....

They never reply to threads like these lol. I wonder why? would it be that people who have suffered bugs like this for months on end if not years with some of these bugs have a legitimate complaint and you can't call them a cry-baby. Replying here might also validate the false faith and intentions of a company who's constantly misleading and stringing its patrons along.

Just after the CU went live myslef and a handfull of other MCH's here posted in bug threads, submitted tickets and post's we were an all out pain in the neck "helping the new nov ch's get a fix for the scout xp cap still in place" It took over a month to get it fixed and all the people "Yes MCH's" who love and worship soe didn't lift a finger to help since it wasn't they're problem and they were having fun. We lost alot of people to other professions.

This bug won't be fixed as long as you have people who consistantly lobby for what they like and not whats right. For what it's worth I hope this is fixed soon and you have my sympathy and support.

I've run into this on Dantooine, CL50 Voritor Lizards ALWAYS give me this message. I've got Horned and Slinking types of equal or lesser level, but the baseline Voritors seem to be bugged.

FYI< its not server boundaries, because within 200 meters of that lizard, I tamed a Huurton with no issues.

Ive seen the YOU CANT TAME THAT bug many times. Ive tamed a pet in a nest & gotten the you cant tame that message from the next pet that spawns from the same nest so boundrys seems an unlikly anser. Last night I spent several hrs on Dath looking for a lev 69 flyer baby before i finnaly found one . I was most unhappy to say the least when i got the YOU CANT TAME THAT message . By the way has the lev 68 & 69 babys on dath been reduced in number in the past few days ? If so we can thank SOE for CH nerf number 326

I just got hit with it on tat, funny I did /unstick just to see what would happen and I got a message a few seconds later theat the unstick was cancelled I tried several more times and it said it succeeded but I wasn't bounced anywhere.

I still think huge client issue thats effecting alot more than taming. They are still playing catch up after the cu bugs and haven't fixed the clients half as much as I originally believed. They just kinda hide it better with server restarts and such.

This bug is still alive and well and I've run into it on just about every planet on Tarq in the past month or so. I always am sure to check that the baby *is* tamable, and that it's not higher CL than I can tame (I'm still only 2/2/3/4 novice CH). It's gotten better--when I first picked up CH about 3 months ago I almost dropped it out of frustration because I was getting it so much.

I have run accross this issue several times and have come up with a theory . I know that when trying to harvest during a spawn shift the creature will not allow you to harvest resources that are shifting . I have noticed this to take about 1 hour to complete then you can harvest again.Could this possibly be the same issue with a not tamable creature? I have not looked into this but It would seem quite logical that this could affect taming as well.
