I got mine of kreetles, CL1 was too nice and quick to level to pass up

If I remember correctly, the first 30 or so kreetles had no special whatsoever, but after that I got 2 of the 3 possible reasonably fast.
It helped me to waypoint large kreetle spawns (found some nests with 10-15 creatures each) and just kept driving back and forth, taming all babies.

Also got mine from kreetles, had to go through about 30 kreetles first but finally got it.

A good site for mmo fans

Thus sets off page after page of responses. Halfof which are honest and true: "You must download the trial and see for yourself." Some are "sky is falling" responses. One or two suspect some trolling and question how the OP is able to post here. And the remainder latch on to one of the questions and debate the topic until flying pigs return carrying the wayward cows.

After taming 40-50 Kreetels, Rills I came accross a rockbeetle mound and a wild static spawn sw of mos eisley and tried the old drive by tame, get out of range turn around and do the same trick which took some time but after 12 babies I finally got the skill.

Oh and im now almost possitive that the devs are ingame watching us sometimes and some of them have a truely twisted sence of humor.

On the wild spawn when i was returning for the 6-7th time I saw a baby I began to tame it and imperial shuttle flew in and dropped off a squad of stormies which for some unkown reason they all targeted the spawn which agro'd the baby and they killed it. The spawn didnt reset of spawn anymore.

Now that is hysterical... I got my thik skin off my first horned krevol catch... learned the skill in 2 rollovers also. I think that burned up all my luck for the week.

QFE : RocketDSM on the subject of the creation of a Non-Jedi Server
As for the argument of "The Jedi are bored, give them content and they'll go away." I actually do agree with you. However, there are two major problems to this argument. First, it would take a lot more coding time than just disabling the Old Man on one server. Second, all that time that would be devoted to a SINGLE PROFESSION is not being devoted to fixing bugs, adding general content, or making new expansions for the rest of the game population. So this is a classic problem of the needs of a few over the needs of the many. I can name seven professions that serve little to no purpose right now. You want more work done on one that's already absorbed an estimated 75% of the coding time for the past year. In my opinion, it's time to get the Jedi off the nipple and give the general population their turn.

  • the key to finding a special you want is to look for something else. it sounded like you tamed ~60 critters to get it. I tamed more than 200 flewts and swirl prongs before i finally got FF1. Every single other special I've ever gotten was on the first or second tame of a critter. Why? Cuz i said "hey, wonder what that's got..." tamed it and either said "another hamstring attack" or "ooh i dont' have this yet"

  • this one time, on Tatooine, i was doing some townsfolk quest to hunt a "special" bantha. anyway, when i got there, there was a npc scout trooper already attacking my waypointed bantha. LOL guess he had the quest too and was spawn camping. the jerk didn't even have the decency to group me in.

thick skin is an innate pet special ability that grants an armor bonus to the pet you train it to.
