good idea... Even though its borderline cheating I guese ill give it a try. We might as well use every advantage we can get with this ridiculous grind.

Hmm. Do you need the level 1 player to give the commands, or be with you and your pet?
The only thing the cl 1 NEEDS to do is group the pet ... you can give all the commands [run macro]
One more thing if there are several CH that want to do this together you find a spaw area that 2 or 3 ch can work that are close to each other an put the CL 1 inbetween them an have him group each MCH's pet. We did this last night an 3 of us were working different spawns at the same time.

I definitely do not see it as borderline cheating - the game gives us a "befriend" command and we lend a pet to a lowbie - this helps them no end as they can take on slightly higher level mobs and kill them quicker with the help of the pet - and as a bu producy our pet gets xp?? I see no problem with this at all. At the moment a pet takes on the level of the group so if you group a level 70 pet with a level 1 the pet gains xp based on a level 1 - I think we should be careful not to even hint that this may be some kind of "exploit" or "cheat" as the nerf bat may swing meaning both CHs and lowbies lose out - The way things are it is a win/win situation and hurts no-one.
I have only tried this a few times and did not find it too effective tbh - I always seem to get the "pet xp" bug where the pet just randomly stops gaining xp and if you are not paying attention you get your pet back after2 hours with no xp ![]()

the KILL macro
/ui action targetSelf; this targets U
/ui action cycleTargetOutward; this targets the closes mob to you seeing you have yourself targeted
/tellpet kill; your pet attack command
/pause 4; I have played with this an well overall 4 seems to work best for yard trash.
/ui action toolbarSlot19; this is the shift f8 key top row of toolbar is 0-11 bottom row is 12-23... or you can just call macro name.
As to not getting the 4-5k exp I was thinking I have only done this with lvl 64-70 pets... perhaps if you were using a lower CL pet the exp points would be less? Does not make real sense to me for a lvl 2 pet to get 4-5k exp per kill.
If you really feel this is a exploit ... well how about if the cl 1 character was to modify the macro an using his basic rifle he shoots one time atthe targetbefore he sends the pet to attack.... [in this case the cl1 would run the macro instead of the mch]
Instead of the highlighted command, you can put in /macro <macroname> (in this case KILL) and save a hotbar slot
