If my understanding is correct the path to jedi and force sensativity requires Combat XP. How is a Master Creature handler who only uses creatures as his form of combat supose to generate combat XP? I think its time the dev's approch the fact we get no Combat XP for Creature killls as well as Faction points for faction kills. Would be nice to get some kind of responce to this from a dev or our correspondent.

Combat is just one way, I believe I saw a crafting type quest on test center forums and they'l probably be doing if not already entertainer type quest, so yes its true no ch quest however if you have a second proffesion which most do there should be something for you.
truth is dont have high hope for anything jedi, just play the game lol
this new system will be just as bad as the profession grind was (in my opinion)
with evryne running around questing whos gonna craft heal ....
I long for the old days when Jedi was a hope/mystery and everyone just played the game for fun not for a goal. Voting to devide servers in half Jedi & Non Jedi servers
Might be nice :-)

Hi
CH pets when told to attack do damage (although very low damage) so CH is a combat profession, so like any other combat profession they to should get XPs..

Well problem goes back to old debates and problems we have already talked about. CH isn't built to be a combat prof right now, it's built as combat support to another skill you have.
If it was ment to be a combat only skill then it's the worst combat prof out there in terms of damage. Truth be told most all CH's use another combat skill as a main source of attack.
This plea for more combat xp since you use your pet as your weapon, not going to happen at least until.....CB.
I hear this all the time, my creature is my weapon, however to this day, I've never seen a CH use ONLY a pet to attack in any serious combat situation.
I'm a MCH and love it, but let's be real, pets are no more than friends and secondary attack support for 99% of CH's. So you'll be getting your combat xp from you weapon. I get plenty of combat xp even being Master CH Master swordsmen.

Good point. Of course for this to actually be addressed, we'd have to be ackowledged.

There is nothing in the new jedi system that leans towards CH. I brought this up when the new system first got out so face it. This is a dead profession.

agreed, i am into the ranged stuff, my pets tank like champs. They do their job and hold much larger creatures and other npcs at bay and deal out some damage, allthough they need to be stronger (or other combat profs need to be nerfed to he||)
I never thought my pet was my weapon. They are certainly one of my weapons.
send a tiger after a who is a master with a rifle and odds are he will probably lose.. unless that rifle guy misses. ![]()
but, then again, send a rancor after that same guy and the rancor should eat him.
I still think damage reduction in pvp would help us a lot.
skigh, thus i continue to ramble as usual...

I don't think my pet isa weapon at all. I think of my pet as my armor and shield. My T-21 is my weapon.
Give me my pet and a swig of brandy, and that's all the armor and buffs I need.

If there was a server that would 100% ban and be Jedi free, I would so be there.
But here is a better Idea. When you unlock your FS slot you are automatically taken to "the Jedi server". Then all 200 of them could go around griefing each other rather than us.
Then we could simply say, "who cares what they give to the jedi, how uber they are, who cares cause they can't grief me or my pet"
Worst case of jedi griefing I have seen is one came up and killed an MCH who was a bounty hunter, killed him, killed his pet, killed his droid, killed his bike. Yup that just made me love Jedi's all the more. Yup.
