Which tameable pets are the largest? I just found out the Giant Peko Peko is extinct. Are there any other pets that are absurdly large?

Thanks!

kimos, fambaas, ravenous tortons, rancors... how big are you looking for?

by the way, IMHO, giant pets can be a pain, if you're a melee profession fighting along side them, you frequently "dissappear" in them.

they do have certain wow-factor with newbs tho.

As big as possible. The kind of big where people say "Wow, that's big".

Rancors are just normal big. I'm looking for super big. I know back when the game started, there were several creatures that towered over players. In particular I remember a setinal spider that seemed to be the size of a house! I also remember a picture of a CH with a giant veermook that was about 10 times taller than he was.

Any of these still around?

Greater Sludge Panters are pretty big compared to normal cats. Nowhere as big as Rancors but they do get the Wow, big! you're looking for.

Giant veermok's are still around (captured me one the other day). As for other large creatures there are fambaa's, Ravenous Tortons and Visous Huf Dun's. I like that style of creature so i plan to get all of them once i get the skills to tame 'em.

Thanks for theinput!

I'm a MD right now, and I'm slowly adding MCH. I won't be doing much fighting with the pets, but I can see how other melee people might get irritated by them.

I'm definatly just looking for the wow factor on these pets. I'll get other pets to do the real work.

if i were you, i'd contact a good BE and get yourself a kimo.... probably the most "badass" looking of the giant pets

Just remember to take advantage of your formation commands, especially with large pets!!!

The wedge or column formation has become a must!!! It will stop the pets from standing all over your head, which if in a group is usually close to someone else's head .

During combat, other fighting classes should really have no problem seeing their target, even with our large pets attacking. It's the in-between fight stuff that bothers most (from my experience). Wedge and column are your friends.

Giant Veermok babies are still around. I found one south of the Naboo mountains a week or so ago. They definitely get the wow factor because not many people have seen one.

While waiting on a shuttle (10 min!) I was pulling out all my pets when this guy busted out his giant veermook. I could not see its head. Thats how tall it was but, he wouldn't/couldn't make it do a trick? That would be an impressive 40 story backflip.

GIANT VERMOOKS are slightly bigger than a rancor

HUF DUN'S are pretty tall, never seen one compared to a ranc or vermook

KIMOGILA'S are just long, not that "big"

I would DIE to have a malkloc plainswalker for a pet, my rancor was barely up to its knee cap. I think CH needs a higher cap or they need to start giving +max CH level mods to master scout, and possibly ranger, getting a level 70 tameable would Rock.
