I'm a bit confused. I've been a CH since the start and its been common knowledge that KD's do not work for pets. Posture down does, but not a full KD. I have a razor cat that does a KD/Dizzy on people NPC's (non-animal) and they can't get back up after numerous tries until the dizzy wears off.
Has this been a stealth fix or should I just be happy and keep my mouth shut because the dev's didn't mean for it to "work as intended" at this time?

Pets with Knockdown as a special attack will do it on their own from time to time. You just can't call for it on demand using the specialattack1 and specialattack2 training commands. Same with the Weak, Medium, and Strong Poison... and Weak, Medium, and Strong Disease.

I can have my Gaping Spider Recluse use Poison Spray as an opening attack on command.
I could swear my Gaping Spider Recluse and Gaping Spider Hunter will also use their Strong and Medium Poison attacks on command.

Are we meaning that a Strong Poison creature will sometimes only use Weak Poison instead of Strong, or is there something I am missing.
Also, is the Plague Strike the Screecher has also in this category, as I can get him to hit on command for opening strike as well.
Just wondering.
Edit: I will try these out tonight if I get the chance.

does that mean that Stun and/or Dizzy specials work on command?
Or does that go for every special?

Dizzy works on command, my BEd Gurreck alway opens with it so that I can follow with low blow and get the NPC into a standup->dizzy fall->standup loop
The attack itself has to hit though, so it's not 100%.

Poison Spray and Plague Strike are not what Vert means by disease and poison. Those work no problem.
Disease = Strong, Medium, Mild Disease
Poison = Strong, Medium, Mild Poison
Those six plus knockdown do not work on command. Everything else does.

I think crippling strike is broke too.
Hmm, that hasn't been my experience. I use that special attack all the time (it's great paired up with Dizzy Strike on a Rhoa Kwi Pack Leader), and have never had any problems with the "Use Special Attack" training commands.

Okay, I did some tests. Yep Plague and Poison Spray have no problem and someone did state that earlier, so we are good there.
I need to test more, as I cannot be sure without getting around a group of mobs, but my Gaping Spider Recluse was hitting poison on command. However, I will have to try while he is surrounded to see if anyone else gets hit, as that would be the spray used by his own accord.
Stun, blind, dizzy, cripple all work fine.
Medium Poison on my Gaping Spider Hunter does not work, so I concur with that. Although I think I have always had a problem with that, but I have not used him much since finding the Recluse.
I don't have anything with any type of disease so I cannot test that.
So after reviewing all of this, I agree that Poisons for the most part do not work. Sorry, but I have been using my cats lately and they only have intimidate, stun and cripple. Or I use my Recluse which could very well be using his spray all the time, I will keep checking that.
Goodluck everyone.
